I absolutely loved the voice acting and writing for Phoenix in this. He sounds a lot like a dad to me, reassuring and comforting. Love how this series reflects Phoenix's growth through the actual games.

Gee, it is one thing for Luna to do a job unbiassed because of personal contact with the defendant. However, the way she crossed the line of attacking Rainbow on a personal level, I wonder if this would open the gates for an accusation of bias rendering the prosecutor unfit for the trial (as I understand it the prosecutor's job is to find the truth not to destroy the defendant on a guilty until proven innocent kind of basis). The way Luna attacked Rainbow on a personal level, essentially declaring her a shame for the Wonderbolts and undeserving of the element of loyalty (any positive incling on the likelihood of its holder being a brutal killer has never been brought up (which might be a good thing if a court hearing is supposed to be impartial)) has crossed a line. I wonder if the fences torn down here can still be ammended after the end of the case. The way things run I wonder if perhaps we are seeing an example of developments which, hypothetically, could contribute to the kind of fracturing of harmony that must have taken place between G4 and G5. Given the intensity of the proceedings it would be kind of interesting to hear a talk between some of the members of the audience who are not directly involved in the case but more likely than not know Rainbow Dash and possibly even Luna at least to some degree. We have heard the criticism in the newspapers (and more likely than not see Luna's reaction to this now), but it would be interesting to hear a bit of the public discussions this would cause (also given the high frequency of bearers of the elements of harmony and their close relatives finding themselves accused). Part of me almost hopes that during the intensive interrogation of Rainbow Dash by Luna they agreed to put on some show to provoke a kind of reaction from actual culprits that would give evidence not yet provided, but that seems to be a rather implausible scenario. I hope that Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle (and Apple Bloom) can ammend their fences given that Sweetie Belle's hopes and intentions were good, but with what Luna said about Rainbow Dash it would be extremely hard to see a mending of these fences.

So, the plot thickens even further. I'm surprised that Sonata went with believing Stella from the other groups' investigation could be linked to Rainbow dash's trail. Could she have been friends with Stream Line?
